That was one of the things about corn grazing its lets you get some of the other jobs done before snow gets too deep. Work never seems to end with cattle and grain combo. Nice bale haul'in outfit !

Tried to bale the corn we swathed over a week ago
Make good bales with very little waste .. 95% or more of the cobs staying in bale securely.
But moisture still very high at 45% plus
They are going to try to get a bale wrapper to make silage bales . Most likely will not dry down enough now to bale for long term feed as is .
Or may have just bale and feed out ASAP ?

And I have to say, that is one pretty bale. Probably make the New Holland chain Baler guys jealous with that one.

Wrapping would be the best solution. Or chopping with a pickup head possibly?

Wheat stubble from our ole Bourgault 8910 12 in space , 3 1/2 in paired row . Never sprayed any pre harvest but got er just after harvest. Weed control was very good this fall 😉ðŸ‘

Corn getting wrapped up ...
Got 65 bales off 18 ac
54†bales at 900 kg each
