In China they're off to a good start getting ready for the winter olympics. Beijing snow, and as far south as the 37 parallel

The locals are not amused. Should melt at lower elevations.
Likely not so for the prairies. Big amounts for parts of SK and Manitoba possible

No snow in our 7 day forecast. All highs are above zero.
Up to + 8 by next weekend.

Sometime in mid fall our weather switches from being the coldest place on the prairies all summer, to being one of the warmer.

I’ve had multiple people tell me it’s supposed to cool off. However I can’t find it in my forecast. Maybe next week it will be below zero during the day….

I still have chickens going broody it’s so warm!!

Ya, sounds like 6" possible along the Yellowhead, more likely in MB.
Should stay north of us, but we'll take rain yet.

Actually would take a foot or so if snow and have it stay . Ground would not freeze and have a much better chance of soaking in by spring

Was Nov 7 last year , the only real snow all winter

Wife tells me a big storm is coming in along north side of hwy16. Three forecasts I follow say nothing. Had an inch of rain a while back not forecast. Had a couple tenths couple weeks ago not forecast. As of late they can’t even predict wind speed.
