Yeah I didn’t realize that the area around Abbotsford was a drained lake, drained in the 1920’s apparently. So is this climate change or a return to the way it was?!

        CBC says climate emergency.

They have a new series coming to splain it all to those of us that just don't understand.

        Don't miss that one.😉

Actually you won't have to watch CBC. Chuck will give us the indisputable highlights.

Our good friend Brandon anounced today big incentives for EVs built only in the USA. Extra incentives for union shop.
Kills any bluesky promises of Canadian auto jobs from the green reset.
Canada trade deligation including Freeland are down there asking for exemption from all the protectionist legislation going on with thier lefty friends. Kind of like thanks for coming, now bend over and take it with a smile.
Freeland thinks she can fix it because it's extreme NAFTA rule breaking.
She said she could see in thier eyes they knew she was right.
One of the reporters more or less asked her if she wished Trump was back?

This is about the worst news possible for thier green reset job creation.
Lucky they have a flood to distract.

Glad u put that up Furrow. My cousin has lived there for 55 years and he said this isn’t the first time this has happened there. He couldn’t remember the year but remembers it being under water. It’s a flood plain. Sometimes it floods. Gonna bugger up our markets for a bit but it’s just the way our infrastructure is set up

You gotta love the social conservatives who tell us subsidized childcare and early learning programs are bad but many of their kids went to preschool, kindergarten and public school paid for by taxpayers. LOL

If you social conservative want to take care of your kids at home fine. There is nothing stopping you.

But for a lot of families two incomes are required and wanted, not to mention single parents don't have an option to stay at home if they want a post secondary education or a job.

There is lots of evidence that early childhood education and socialization are good for children.

Kenney agreed with the federal program because the interest and demand from Alberta families was high.

And you "family value" hypocrites sure the hell don't seem to standup for women when posters post hateful misogynistic comments against Freeland. Where are your family values?

As they living in 500k+ homes that they can't afford as proven by the 500 billion the liberals spent keeping the average canadian from losing their home?

Maybe the kids should come after the post secondary education and job, not before?

Bullshit bucket not all families who need child care have 500 k homes or expensive lifestyles.

Thats a lame excuse not to invest in daycare and early childhood learning programs.

And if you haven't noticed the price of housing and cost of living has gone up lately for everyone poor or well off.

Too many are being paid to stay home and
Have kids and use that money for drugs etc
While responsible people can’t afford the time
Or money to have a family. It’s bizarre.

Very true . And it’s about to get worse as wealth is stripped away from those who make society run

I think some of you guys crying about mother's being in the work force should stop and think how many job vacancies there would be without them in the Canadian work force.

Many on here have stated that businesses can't find reliable worker as it is .

What do you think would happen to the Canadian economy with mother's taken out of the work force?

In which major cities do you think you can find a decent house for less than $300-$400K houses?

Daycare and early learning programs allow people who want and need to go to work contribute to the economy and know that they are being well taken care of at an affordalbe cost.

What you are talking about is the serious social and mental health and addiction problems that many people are suffering from. Many of them come from abusive and dysfunctional family situations or suffer from mental health issues.

So if we provide those people with more money that will fix that problem?

                                Didn't we just try that?
I'm guessing there are record numbers of dependant people.
My guess is double digit increase.
