Well Joe Biden stuck to his guns and shows no intention of changing the proposed $12500 subsidy on Union made U.S. electric vehicles potentially dashing the hopes of Justin Trudeau of building an electric car manufacturing industry in Canada. What I am curious about is Canada’s number one export is Oil, our second largest export is automobiles. Justin Trudeau is working hard to downsize our oil and gas industry, Joe Biden and the rest of his protectionist green pals are working to move EV manufacturing to the U.S. So in Justin Trudeau’s new green woke economy where is the wealth generated?

Capital gains on farms is really the last thing they can get without a battle, everyone east of Manitoba is a liberal and they won't go after wealth there.
Look at the scam from the Fifth Estate last night. No one can charge the Keilburgers and they are above the CBC , FFS.Last edited by bucket; Nov 21, 2021, 17:12.

How long before you can't drive on certain highways unless you're in a EV.
If you can't get to work in a EV or public transport, then you can go on UBI.
The budget will balance itself.

In Washington this week Mr Trudeau said it's unfair that coutries like Canada price carbon and produce low carbon footprint aluminum while competing against countries that produce such products dirtier and more cheaply.
Cue the Circus clown music.
DUH! What an idiot.
They are starting to realize they are giving all the economic growth to the countries that arn't participating.
To these idiots the solution to non competitiveness on the world market is subsidize what is the basic cause of the problem.
They truly believe they can just keep printing?Last edited by shtferbrains; Nov 19, 2021, 09:38.

Mabey that old saying You cant take it with you will have more meaning. Maybey people dont need billions of $ at death.
Just think what it may do for the economy if everyone spent most of their wealth before death, and that would solve the trust fund babies thing. And some of those would have to get out and make a living for themselves.
Dont have any answers just pondering ??

Interestingly, I met an Albertan on sabbatical just this week, while he's taking an extended visit with his family very near our area.
His assessment is that the rural/farming areas of Ontario are more conservative than what he sees in his circles in the west.
From what I've observed on this forum, I would have to agree with his assessment.

Their plan includes a halt to inter-generational wealth transfers, or inheritance, since it causes "inequities and injustice". Look up the Habitat and UN Agenda documents and read it for yourself.
Just a bit of fly in the social justice ointment - if the UN buffs such as the despicable Prime Minstrel sock-puppet-who-walks-like-a-human would actually believe their own schtick and put it into practice why don't we see them handing out their inherited wealth (like JT), or quickly dispersing their trust funds for the common good?
Every one of those thieving, rotten, abominations is a world class hypocrite and liar.
"Everybody has to meet his Waterloo...", sang Stonewall Jackson, when I was a kid, and it's no less true today.
