I can tell you have never been educated by a parent of a special needs person. I got tuned in years ago by someone caring for clients in a group home. There are more fitting words to describe the governing party that has got this country in a real mess.

And as for the derogatory terms, I think the side of the political divide which in recent times has both the moral high ground and the real world results on their side, we should be capable of making a convincing rational argument without resorting to using the juvenile insults and derogatory tactics that's the Chucks of the world are forced to use, having nothing else to fall back on.

I firmly support posters having more respect, especially when derogatory terms are used that in turn reflect on classes of individuals such as intellectually disabled/special needs individuals that are dealing with the hand they have been dealt in life. Time to grow up folks. And if you disagree, no need to call me names or respond, just give me the thumbs down.

Our government overriding there own Canada food Agency over export of potatoes in hopes of winning the heart of Joes Government. Kinda like treating spud farmers like cattlemen the last 20 years. This also happened a few years ago out east if I recall but ban on exports was short lived and maybe was seed potatoes only.

I think traitor would be a suitable alternative word to describe the little potato(in keeping with the theme of the thread) currently ruining our country, without offending anyone.

Chuck, perhaps you should do some research before making accusations.

Thanks to Quebec, Canadian provinces now have a constitutional legal right to separate from Canada.

Advocating for saving the most valuable parts of a sinking ship, rather than all going down with the ship is a a legal right in Canada, therefore, it is not treason.

Conversely, no where in our consititution does it allow for selling our soveriegnty to unelected UN bodies, in exchange for favours to the ruling elites. That is absolutely treason.

Well it just looks like there is a problem with plant disease on the potatoes. The US banned shipments.

Sorry, the U.S. did not ban shipments from Canada,,, Canada's own Canadian Food Inspection Agency stopped the export of PEI potatoes to the U.S.

My point again, why didn't CFIA stop potatoes from the inflicted farms, rather than stopping all potatoes from PEI from being exported?
