It would appear that the following were placed into the penalty box for 90 days:

That's just what I'm seeing on my end. Perhaps others. Gonna be awful quiet around here. Plenty of those individuals had intriguing viewpoints on alot of topics other than Covid.

Personally I think it would be nice if we could keep the commodity forum more "ag" related. If there's an element of covid that you can draw back to ag, then by all means it should be allowed. If you want to rip at each others throats then probably best to put that somewhere else.

'Social Media' has been put on notice... in Canadian law; that legally they now hold responsibility to monitor and remove comments that can be taken the wrong way... particularly when health matters that have 'public health' safety implications are involved.

Besides the legal liabilities , there is a moral obligation to not allow the spread of disinformation which harms society as a whole. Free speech is only as good as the message and if it does not harm the rights of everyone.

So does a forum moderator now need to be a trained lawyer, and medical doctor to determine what is and isn't allowed to be posted?
Who decides what is disinformation?
Or is it just what the government's narrative is on that particular day?

With the narrative changing almost daily, every arm of media could be accused of misinformation at some point... including our own government.

The fact that government, and media are allowed to censor solely on their biased (constant changing) views, is an extremely slippery slope.

Since everyone is convinced that the moderators are censoring their side of the debate, go to the appropriate forum, and post the most ridiculous conspiracy theories for your side of the debate, then start a new identity and take the other side and post their unproven conspiracy theories, then check and see if either identidy gets kicked off. I'll bet anything that you will be disappointed to learn that there is no censoring of either side, and both will be permitted
