So what is stopping me as a farmer from putting up my shingle and selling carbon credits/off sets based on my farms past 38 years of zero till and going into the future???? at a discounted rate of say $50.00 and acre per year..

What may be stopping you, is your lack of connections with Liberal elite who stand to profit from the scheme.

The entire facade of carbon credits is a well orchestrated scam that will end badly. Unfortunately the real drivers of the economy will be driven into the ground before the whole house of cards falls. There is an excellent precedent in history where the Catholic Church sold “Indulgences”. Look it up. Seems like it was an excellent money maker for the elite and dealt with invisible assets. Eerily similar I think.

The purchase of an indulgence was basically selling forgiveness. Certainly pertains to what someone like Justin Trudeau does when he buys a carbon offset when he hops on a plane. So I certainly agree that everything involved with the carbon tax and or carbon credits is a facade driven down on us by a self declared group of elite believers!!!

If we were serious and had serious representation
Groups like ape and ass would have colourful
Commercials with an old jd r tractor pulling a
Sickle mower cutting some nice green grass
And all kinds of charts showing how many
Tonnes of carbon are locked up in the soil. Showing
How it used to be when soil was plowed and
The dust blew on and on.
Pictures of trees etc etc describing how farming
Is doing its part.
There is no one selling what we are doing!!!!
City people have no idea because we don’t
Advertise. The next step up fro us are the ones
Going to make rhe real money off of this because
It will get bigger and there will be real dollars
There are lots of poof balls that want to feel good
They are changing the climate. Money for rhe taking
But because we have no representation both
Then and us will be taken by the middle schemers.
