Hearing now that Dekalb seed for this coming spring, is going to be sold by seed size, as the Invigors were last year.

Only canola bags I have in my shop are the sample bags from 2018 .. the last time I grew it.
Which reminds maybe i should take them in and sell them, could buy some Christmas gifts some spiced rum for New Years.
How does anyone justify seeding canola next year with fert where it is??
              WOW!!!!!
Actually .. how does anyone justify seeding anything???

So, does the industry have a contingency plan for this type of event? Seedi g half the acres doesn't sound like a good option for the future of our industry.
If there is only enough seed for half the acres, would we be legally permitted to bulk up our orders with brown bag seed?
Has anyone ever taken a volunteer canola crop to harvest? Do the hybrid traits carry through the second generation? Will we be encouraged to seed 2 lbs or less per acre?
Will South American supplies come through?

lots were BB here over the years , good for bug spray sales , and sprayer hours
you think these seed treatments don't work , try it without
no problem with genetics though , grows well , and handles chemical well , just be ready to live in sprayer

Last few years I have terminated volunteer canola crops in my lentils that look like they would have made more money than the lentils. Maybe I should let one go some year and see what I get.

I dont think its against patent to harvest volunteer growth.
