SKF why wouldnt you bail on the anhydrous for a year? By off the top of my head calcs, you can still make up the same fertility with just granular at less cost.

Maybe I am wrong, never used anhydrous before.

The hottest commodity right now is guys going in and asking for extra credit to cover the new prices of Fert seed and chemical and it’s not just a little extra it’s hundreds of thousands more.

Sat down with the retailer a few weeks ago and we have it figured if my rotation stayed the same along with the same inputs....costs have nearly doubled and at this point there isn't enough moisture to grow enough to cover it. A foot of snow is only 3/4" of equivalent moisture if it soaks in.

I watched guys throw the groceries at their land in 2021 and with no rain their crops burnt out.

Save your money go to the lake have some beers, do some golfing enjoy yourself.
All the chem companies and retailers will be doing that and having a good time if you keep dishing out the cheques to them.

We have our 22 covered but 23 will be the real test. If these inputs are up this high still we will be going to 2/3rds lentils for a year and then see what happens.

I have a strange feeling that the entire world is just moving up on the cost scale and it will be permanent. Margins will just fall back to where they have been historically.

. Anhydrous is delivered to you which is convenient and one less product that you have to handle. Using dry or liquid N requires lots of handling. When you have your drill setup for a certain fertilizer system there is no switching to another without a cost.

I agree we have both drills set up plus double shoot dry.

Might get a 60 ft DT PUT ON A extra KIT we have in the container add banding knives and go in fall after harvest.

fall banding juice really works well on our farm , usually very good deal , out of the way for spring , we are normally wet so opens ground up , helps in spring immensely on our normal years , you are usually damp like us , would be a good fit for you
