Taxpayer purchased rail cars because they were hauling for the board. Who else could pay for them? The pipeline was just paid a mandated fee to handle.
Got rid of the boxcars i guess.
They are now derelict and clutter various sidings where paying tanker storage could sit. Salvage.
Just another chapter in a sad but interesting book that isn't finished yet.
Meanwhile, the second after, and ever since, Cargill finished its crush plant here, miles and miles of shiny private cars at all times. Magic.

Prior to posting this topic here I sent an e-mail to that address. No reply so far. A look at their website told me nothing.

"The money if there really was any is long gone."
About as much money as in my co-op member equity bahaha and just as elusive.

Because that reads almost word for word out of their hymnal.
No, never belonged to any farm organization or intend to. A straight answer, not fluff AB5.

Hymnal nah, your the one using little quotes in postings.

Your not concern as a farmer where your assets disappeared to? Ahh you'll put out some long winded post how neutral you are here on Agriville and it's all ok how Ritz Cracker handed Ag in general.

Are you a politician, you certainly post like one? Always P ussy footing around every topic and riding that fence of yours.

            Just checking.
And trying to figure out why you are so passionate about the end of that socialist organization when you claim to be growing hay and forage seed, not wheat?
And sorry, not a politician, as I have stated before, as a fiscal conservative, and social liberal, I find myself homeless in the current political climate.

I suspect their weren't many assets.
Other crown business sales sold shares to the public for cash.
Behind the logo there wasn't a viable proposal to sell. Ritchie's was politically out of the question.
It was likely the only way to move it.
Give the brand and few hard assets to the only company that agreed to fly the logo for 7 years.
I always said the emperor never had any clothes.

Never was supposed to have hard assets.

                Even office space is debatable.

The money was a pool of farmers current accounts?
