I don't know how but I discovered this thread so late and wow, I found so much stuff to read and study about soil here. Thanks for the links to the articles and your posts, guys. All this stuff on the internet really keeps me continuing to plant flowers in my garden and enjoy the flowers when they grow in spring and summer.
