Atmospheric Rivers

I dont think we get atmospheric rivers here.

A cloud burst delivering a inch of rain, hitting some of our land, i call a god send.

Never heard of these before. Now they seem to be a a common occurrence. Another one scheduled for Sierra Nevadas. Can we expect that in the spring? What would these do to volatility in the markets?

Atmospheric River is just more use of terminology to create panic and concern in the general populace about weather. No different than using the widely adapted term climate emergency. Fear equals control!

Much like drought cycles , California had a current dry spell , as did many other areas . Media made it sound like worst in history .... well ....


Depending on the definition of history .....

So the worst flooding and droughts occurred before the fossil fuel age ...... media conveniently leave those facts out . Great scare tactics though
