Enjoy time with family it is more precious than most realize .
You never know how the future will turn out . Things can change quick .
Lost our mom in September during harvest , and my Dad this morning. Would have never dreamed that last Christmas at all .
Hopefully we can carry on another 110 years with the family farm .
Merry Christmas and let’s remember why most of us farm and respect all different paths we take for the same goal, just trying to raise and grow food and support our families ... big or small farms .

Sincerest condolences Furrow. As if 2021 hadn't already caused you enough grief.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Dec 22, 2021, 17:30.

Family is all that matters 365 days a year. That's what keeps me striving.
Christmas just makes us reflect more, nothing else.
Sorry for your loses FARROW, it will be somewhat of a lonely Christmas for you and your family. I remember you speaking about your niece's wedding this summer and how much fun you had with your family.
I still look back to the Christmas celebrations while growing up at my Grandparent's before they passed. My Grandfather was a special man. My father passed 3 1/2 years ago, so someone else is missing at the table.
Do have a new arrive that came this fall, which will make it a very special time.
Can make all the money in the world, but it will never replace those in our lives that bring us happiness.Last edited by foragefarmer; Dec 22, 2021, 18:32.

Condolences for your loss furrowtickler. Losing both parents so close - tough one. You have lots of support here.

Keep them close and give them lots of hugs during this time.
