        To help the family and grandones enjoy Grandma and the miracle of our farm [and planet];

        To be an honest witness, with integrity, that shares the Good News that God came to Save our human souls, even though humanity chooses: 'evil' over 'Love', Darkness over Light, Grudges over Forgiveness.

        Share he Miracle of: Life, Creation, and our purpose here and now, that we [humanity] are not an accident, or the result of chaotic confusion! Many Blessings!!

        Cheers to 2022! We got one shot at Life, Live Love with an open humble wise mind.

          Like I’ve said before “live each day like it’s your last”.
          We all work way to hard for so little. Enjoy your family, take time for yourself also.
          Let’s all press on to next yr with a hopeful heart.

          All the best everyone.
          HNY!!

            BTW, Pain is a simple reminder:

            To be thankful for all the blessings we have been given;

            And consider all the billions of sacrifices made by those people who are responsible for the freedoms we now enjoy!

                To try to be close to the man my dad and grandpa were that worked incredibly hard to build a piece of what we have today
                Was a tough day today to deal with but thankful for what was worked for .
                Happy New Years to all and hopefully 2022 is better in all respects for everyone

                  Not anymore, I grew up 6 miles north one mile east of Whitewood, mom a dad are still on the farm, dads 90 so he’s not doing much farming it’s mostly rented out.

                  Anyway I’m approximately 35 miles south of Belle Plaine in the dirt hills, dad was a little miffed when I bought the in-laws ranch and told me I’ll never make a living on that dried out god forsaken hilly rocky treeless place. Anyway I’m not doing too badly out this way but it definitely isn’t as easy to eke out a living as back home.

                  CASEIH I kinda assumed you were farming way up north, you know what they say if a person does assume.

                      All are different in their responses to losing someone close. When I lost my Mom and Dad, one thought that was a bit challenging - it was that there was no longer anyone older "at the helm". Our generation was now "guiding the ship". (Please pardon the cliches, but they simply depict the feeling)

                      There is a diminishing of the pain, but the sense of loss - not so much, even after 25 years. In those years since, I can't count how many times I wanted to pick up the phone and ask, or tell, my parents something.

                      And the strongest compulsion of all, after all these years of separation, is that I wish I could plunk our grandchildren onto my parents' laps and have them fuss over the lil rascals. I know they would just simply absorb these wee ones into their lives and pour into them.

                      At times that sense creates a literal ache inside...

                      So perhaps in light of that reality, I can resolve to be more of what my parents were to me.

                      But I guess you already said that, furrow...

                        Almost no masks in Las Vegas for parade, but New York last night mostly masked.
