To try to be close to the man my dad and grandpa were that worked incredibly hard to build a piece of what we have today
Was a tough day today to deal with but thankful for what was worked for .

Not anymore, I grew up 6 miles north one mile east of Whitewood, mom a dad are still on the farm, dads 90 so he’s not doing much farming it’s mostly rented out.

Anyway I’m approximately 35 miles south of Belle Plaine in the dirt hills, dad was a little miffed when I bought the in-laws ranch and told me I’ll never make a living on that dried out god forsaken hilly rocky treeless place. Anyway I’m not doing too badly out this way but it definitely isn’t as easy to eke out a living as back home.

CASEIH I kinda assumed you were farming way up north, you know what they say if a person does assume.
