Or we could do it Chuck's way, where we all just believe in something because all the other cool kids are also believing in it.

Looks like the mass formation psychosis has now manifested in the climate change scam. Chuck is the poster boy. Totally embedded in hypnotic state and wed to the narrative.

Nothing will change till its way too late. We get to see the effects of climate change, and like deer in the headlights we see the lights but just keep walking. Some even swear they're not lights while staring right at them.
Mr Treudau made his pitch at the last climate conference trying to get more countries to participate with a carbon tax. He basicly said it wasn't fair to us to pay carbon tax as 80% of the world wasn't participating. He went on to point out that under those conditions we won't be competitive. China produces 60% of the Co2 and doesn't even show up.
        He came away with nothing.
We are a rounding error in the amount of CO2 we produce on the world scale.
Canada is easily the greatest natural carbon sink of any country and Saskatchewan is a large part of that. Why should we kill our economy to sink carbon for China as they continue to expand?

You can never go wrong by observing and establishing facts

BC has had a GHG reduction plan since 2008. https://www.env.gov.bc.ca/soe/indica...emissions.html

The same people who openly mock the holy roller Christ worshipers show up every day to worship at the Church of the Warming Planet. Its all about believing.

The only logical conclusion to be drawn from that, is that the CO2 tax is obviously not nearly high enough in British Columbia.
Looks like they will need to add at least a couple of zeros for it to have its desired effect.

It boggles the mind that some are so blind that they cannot see
                BC clear example
But if by some magic the carbon tax did work what *** good would we do as China puts 43 more coal generators online

In the next 4 yrs with no plans on stopping.

For sure at least 10x what we sacrifice our great future for by meeting out climate goals by going the boy scout route.
We have such a great abundance of natural resources but consider virtue signaling more important.

                  Burn it all down?

This is likely nothing, but the green-leaning BC has as it's claim to green fame as producing about 50% of Canada's coal exports - 25-30 million tonnes annually - most of which goes to.......CHINA.

A bit like a drug kingpin living unsuccessfully in the rehab center.

Aw well, what is more important than appearances, Promethean posturing on the global stage...

For example, the IPCC says we need about 3 more zeroes added to the price of carbon to be effective.

The IPCC claims in its latest report that action must be taken to avert global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius by the end of the century — a benchmark it says comes with costly climate consequences. Its recommendation: a carbon tax of as much as $200 per ton of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 to an astonishing $27,000 per ton by 2100.

For America families, this could mean the price of gasoline soaring to $240 per gallon.

No wonder it's not working in BC.

I have faith in the government though, they will get there sooner or later. And Chuck will be applauding them every step of the way.
