your not alone in your observations.
Here's someone who has been checking the sea level at Boiling Pot Lookout in Noosa National Park that is about halfway down the east coast of Australia.

The rock face has been cut away from thousands of years of ocean waves washing against it, but now, even at the highest tide of the year, the ocean won't even wash a person off the shelf infront of the cut level, because the ocean level is currently lower than it has been in the distant past.

On the highest tide each year, I wonder if the waves will reach to the wave cut notch at the bottom of the cliff face, below Boiling Pot Lookout in Noosa National Park that is about halfway down th…

            Charter flight?

Dod you have any option for party or non party flight?

I like traveling but hate the getting there part.

Have had a resolution to do more of it for about 20 yrs but never made it work yet

No westjet. And yes plane delays. But it's winter I have nothing but time so no big deal to us. It is anyoying though and does cost more for delays. We had to rent hotel couple extra nights. Maybe westjet might do something when we get back but not going to worry about it. There problem is workers have no symptoms but test positive so can't work.

All workers are wearing masks and have 2 shots at almost all vacation spots. The locals not so much low vacations like 20% but they are living sooooooo? I thought covid would have Wiped the place clean lol. Guess not. Surprisingly. Guess media wrong again. More people still die from falling off trucks in traffic going to work than covid is what I have been told by workers at hotel.

I have trouble getting my head around the oceans are/will rise! You would think as the sea ice melted at the poles the water would be less volume than an ice cube floating displacing more volume than the water contained?

You would not notice sea level change from year to year. Current rate 3.4 mm per year.
