    Crop production show in saskatoon

The meetings are all virtual now, is that correct?

    Is the show still open?

Just something to talk about , but it looks like the first part of next week will be nice , weather wise. Attendance would have been good.

I believe the commodity orgs meetings are virtual, the same as last year. The crop production show hasn't been cancelled yet has it? If its still on I would head in for sure.

Its now all but proven; beyond any and all doubt; that "Attendance would have been good" and would not be GOOD in any conceivable way. If you don't know the rate at which this new virus spreads...then you have no ears; no eyesight and no faculties to add up cases that already recently happened (here and everywhere else) and what WILL happen in next number of days (and very few weeks}.

Its no longer an issue connected to unvaccinated vs. vaccinated.

Wow quite a turnaround from one of the most extreme indoctrinated individuals, maybe there is hope.

many cases here of families where those without booster got it , those with booster , didn't . including ours
i dunno , but appears to be doing its thing
spreading like wildfire around here, maybe the herd will finally be immune

Somehow I think Bill C2 will cover the costs of a cancellation. There is 11 billion to draw from.

Two previous internet posting failures to get this point across.

Minot ND KMOT Ag Expo show coming up Jan 28 and 29th. Projection is that this event will coincide with 2 million to 14 million new covid cases (in USA) each day by that date.

So how many are even considering, planning, expecting or attempting to attend that event. Not that there is one chance in twenty that there is any chance of the event being held as planned; but it would seem that there's a whole lot of convincing still necessary to ensure that there are few immortals in any population and many who have comorbidities not necessarily (or all)their own faults.

caseIH - Interesting observation about who got sick and who isn't getting sick.

It's pretty hit n miss around here - just a lot of people catching it though.

One chap ended up in hospital, refused to go on vent and wouldn't take any of the drug protocol, just lots of oxygen. He came around strong in about 3 or 4 days after admission. Diabetic, overweight, not jabbed.

Another chap, well-known auctioneer, 3x jabbed, ended up on vent, survived, slowly coming around.

Another chap, late 50s, healthy with a large family - boom - died. Not jabbed.

Another family, neighbors, their daughter and son in law deeply divided over it. He jabbed, she didn't, one son did, the other didn't. One younger son took it and ended up in hospital overnight with pericarditis.

Two older sons went to a New Year's Eve party. Jabbed son now has the bug and the unjabbed doesn't. Live in the same house.

Their daughter jabbed to keep her job. Now she has it.

What about the residents at the home where she works before becoming symptomatic?

This thing is no respecter of persons or jab status.

all we can hope is that this rapid explosion of cases with milder symptoms might put this ugly bitch to bed

Around my camp, grandaughter’s friends succumbing like all get out. Some double vaccinated with boosters. One double with top-up has been positive twice in four months.

                              This looks like a possibility.
