Oh the good ol day of chicks eh wheatking.
It was the new wave how farmers would make millions. Lol

I’m not part of the chicks anymore made too much money paid too much income tax, and made the chem companies zillions attempting to keep them alive with fungicides.

I remember losing $150 per acre my second year growing them.

My data uses Saskatchewan Averages so no 70 cent.

This report has fibs using the data that I have.

My thesis is both markets work the same as they both have a common participant in irrational and emotional human beings.

The same market structure is found in both the futures and cash markets.

The data goes back 21 years, however, I typically use fibs on highs and lows so the period prior to the 2018 high is irrelevant to me in this analysis.

If the high was 20 years ago, I would be considering that timeframe.

Regardless TA can be applied on any timeframe.

Some day traders use the same strategy as Paul Tudor Jones.

          Do fibs work every time?

No, however, price reacts at those levels often enough that they are an effective reference point.

          Don't ask me why. I don't know and I don't care.

There are many, many different styles of TA, some of which are sophisticated, some are simple, and all are discretionary.

It can be as simple as the use of moving averages or the use of geometric patterns.

Some use astrology which I don't understand but each year people claim that the pig spleen weather forecast is accurate.

I am currently working on improving the limited charting capabilities available to my data set which seems to come at a price. I don't think it is necessary, however........

TA is far from perfect being more of an art than a science.

This is likely why it is the object of scorn of many a news curator, however, the only factor known with certainty is past prices, so that is what I work with.
