    Metaverse Real Estate

The new scam for those of you who invested in bitcoin. Maybe someone will set up a farm land metaverse.

I’m just curious why you think you know everything ?
I know nothing about Bitcoin , but maybe it’s the next “wheel”, internal combustion engine, etc.

The older I get the better I understand how little I know. I was too smart to buy Google, Facebook or Apple and I had legitimate opportunity and the means to do so. I'm not buying bitcoin either but I'm not sure that's the right decision.

Ive got 3 acres ill sell.
Its comes with full carbon credit rights.
You can view a picture any time.
        No tax
The best soil is in the low lying ground, natural occurring irrigation pond that dries up in time to seed, usually
If you want to talk farming, i take calls as per fee schedule

        $3,000 acre
        Non negotiable
        Etc

Too much work weed control etc. Virtual property needs no maintenance.

And the virtual food that grows on the virtual farmland is GMO free, pesticide free, fertilizer free, guaranteed organic, calorie free, fat free, carcinogen free, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free( well that might be debatable...), no rain forest is destroyed, cage free, antibiotic free, hormone free, no artificial flavour or colours( unless you have a good imagination. Unfortunately, it isn't carbon neutral. It takes a lot of energy to make the zeroes and ones that represent the virtual farm.

"Apple's stock has split five times since the company went public. The stock split on a 4-for-1 basis on August 28, 2020, a 7-for-1 basis on June 9, 2014, and split on a 2-for-1 basis on February 28, 2005, June 21, 2000, and June 16, 1987."

If you bought one Apple share when the IPO was offered in 1980 you would have 224 shares and they would be worth $38,570.56 today.

Facebook changed it's name to Meta on Oct 28/2021, Zuckerberg needed to change the name after feeling the heat from a fellow employee whistleblower.

At Xmas I watched my sisters stepson fck around with an Oculus Rift for a couple hours.

Oh it’s going to be a thing for some. Some people will eventually live the majority of the time in the meta.

Using real money to buy virtual stuff isn’t new.

Lots of people can't afford the real real estate anymore so I guess it's cheaper to dream. Is this stuff no different than buying penny stock 20-30 years ago ? For you kids out there we used to have a coin called a penny and you could buy gum with it.

welcome to virtual reality. or should i say virtual realty
as long as enough people are willing to spend their money on this stuff, then virtual real estate is actually worth something i suppose. only problem is the supply of properties in dreamland is unlimited, so resale might be a bit tricky.
in the meantime, some tech saavy millenial is sitting in his ocean front mansion, making a killing as the money rolls in.
now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go feed the unicorns

and 25 of those pennies would buy you a pop and a bag of chips, for years.....

Actually it was RIM when the company hit the skids. They renamed themselves BB a few years ago.

They did have a superior product at their prime. The Blackberry had great security features.

Jim Balsillie kind of screwed things up.

                          Was great Canadian innovation.

Hit $36.00 a share last spring on the coat tails of Robinhood traders.

Agriville is just one of many simultaneous
metaverse occurring at the same time. I don’t
Know why some chose to play the parts they do
On here over and over. Must get paid to be so
Mean. Or maybe don’t realize they are pawns in
Someone else’s game and that someone else
Makes all the money off the stupidity and
Mean spirit of the free pawn Players.

Fancy you say. As I type this you and I are both pawns in the game as well.
