    Huge jump today .
Kinda figured , Viterra called last week when market was tanking advising us to book now before it goes lower .
Was a great indication to hold on , happens nearly every time .

But last year our snow was all crystals that were gone in early april and then we had a month of wind blowing over the land. Seeded into dust in some fields. I dont think that happens this year. There should be at least snow cover for an extra 3 weeks this year I hope.
I like your optimism but I think this year is going to be drier than the personalities at the local Richardson.

It’s been many, many years since we had this much snow. Especially by this point in the winter, with feb March April snow still to come. I’d have to look back, but I would guess a decade. She’s gunna be wet this spring.

I think a lot of the drainage effort last fall will be for nothing but the ducks.

          Good afternoon everyone,

I hope the first few weeks of 2022 has treated you well and that you received some of the much needed snow.

For old crop opportunities, things have been quiet. At this point in time I recommend getting GPO's in so if there is upside in the market we can take advantage of that.

Some new crop opportunities we have had this week,

New Crop Durum: $13 3CWAD 13.0 September delivery, spreads at time of delivery
New Crop Canola: We had some luck today and $18 canola was triggered for September delivery
