They are likely upside down on a few sale guarantees. Buyers fees going to be more the the item price soon.

neighbors RB land auction after sale they take chunk and by law a real estate gets to set up land transfer. A bit of pen work only and not even have to spend any time advertising or showing the farm but nice commission cheque anyways. Neighbor made them wait a couple of hours after sale before he would sign papers. He was a little pissy about it

Looks like the land sold fairly strong at this sale.

Well if you looked at the sale results today you'd conclude the were some 24 different winning bidder nimbers who committed to pay in excess of 28.5 Million Canadian dollars.

That demonstrates to me that way more farmers/possibly investors than might haveen expected to have that dollar lebel of faith in their business decision today.
One could reasonably guess this may even create as many expanding farms than the number of proprietors who retired after succesful long careers in farming

I'd say What better outcome could be wished for in an economic system that purports to encourage growth, potential reward im exchage for risk and borrowing money in exchange for ownersnhip.

Few will predict the future accurately; but if these 24 new purchasers are anywhere as succesfull with their new farmland as the previous owners there should be few complaints in the future.
