Mallee, you had a beautiful sister. Just to see her in that picture, hugging you….

Cherish each moment, every day, every occasion. We are locked up in isolation with our serious blood disorder, waiting for a stem cell transplant, unable to mingle in fear of any deadly infection, cold, Covid, whatever. Siblings are precious and the big Catholic families of yesteryear are a wonderful gene pool for us. Genetic testing has provided us with two out of five siblings turning out to be 100 percent match donors. Both donors flew back to Canada for the opportunity to be the one we need so desperately. Their stem cells will replace mine and hopefully my body will use them to build a new blood factory. 👍

The future of medicine appears to be in genetics to cure cancers, to replace defective organs. Someday they’ll just grow what we need, the genetic growers will make man new replacement parts. There is hope and that, we know as farmers, is the reason we go on.

Sorry to hear of your illness and I agree the future in medicine will depend a lot on genetics. The current vaccines are evidence of that. The only barrier will be our ability to control and predict unintended consequences.

Makes you realize there’s more to life than some of the BS that goes on in the world, superficial stuff really.

Police had to forcibly enter the property on Saturday and front door is now unlockable some low life has entered the property to say my blood was boiling is a understatement.

Cleanup continuing today but was allowed in had to wear a hazmat suit and special filtered breathing mask but managed to find the will late yesterday.
