        This whole thing stinks. Renewable fuels are the steel bumper factory in Newfoundland. No market for steel bumpers anymore but government kept it going to keep jobs. Finished bumpers were melted and made again.

          That’s why I think this is just an offset scheme.

            Some times that's a curse you end up always driving past those places cause there's a better deal 100 miles away. But the more option's doesn't hurt.

              It makes sense for Federated to put a crush plant beside their oil Refinery. Blending 'renewables' is easy that way. The US is going in this direction more and more...fast.

              Cheers

                  FCL didn't need to partner on this. And not with AGT.

                    From the government newser;

                    The FCL renewable diesel plant will have a production capacity of 15,000 barrels per day, or about 1 billion litres per year. The FCL-AGT canola crush facility will use 1.1 million tonnes of canola seed to produce 450,000 tonnes of oil, supplying approximately 50 per cent of the feedstock required for the renewable diesel plant, with the remainder of the supply being contracted from other canola crush facilities.

                    They still buy 50% of the veg oil elsewhere.
                    Basicly an additional 2 million tonne consumer.
                    Canada was crushing about 11M tonnes. With the new Sask plants an aditional 4M?
