Got a rain event happening in our state at moment not for me sadly.

But I got a good 70mm drop a week ago.

271mm in 36 hours not bad for our state about 600 kms west of me.

Jet skis going on golf course out in the bush

No damage other than minor flooding farmers rejoicing

Is 70 mm in one shot common for you? Only on real wet years here do we get dumps like that it seems

Nope a large fall in one shot is usually the 20 to 30mm.

Guys that got 271 mm in 24 hours amazing.

Coming straight down from tropics wedged between two highs no we’re to go except south like a funnel.

It’s not uncommon for desert areas to get these falls once every 7 or 8 years just has come a bit further south
