I am surprised they haven't committed more to Ukraine,

still amazed they committed anything at all to ranchers. If they hadn't, its not as if the Conservative MP's would have really given a shit, or at least not anymore than a single soundbite.

Canada is a founding member of NATO, and has to show unity with it's fellow members.

Putin is a dictator ready to invade Ukraine, which is a sovereign nation.

If other countries don't help Ukraine defend themselves against Putin, which country is next (Poland)?

Russian borders are very close to Canada in the north.

There are countless reasons, but there still should have more money to help the Cow Calf farmers out there.

Just a side note there are 1.5 Million Canadians of Ukrainian decent, and there are many cow calf guys out there who are of Ukrainian decent in Western Canada.

I have no problem with some of my tax dollars being used to help my Ukrainian ancestors. Nor do I have a problem with my tax dollars going to help Cow Calf farmers.

I always thought it would be higher than that. Who only gets counted as a half?
Did you know that 95% of statistics are made up? The other 5% are just typos.
But I've found most of them to be decent folks. Regardless of where their descendants came from...
