This convoy has nothing to do with "losing" the federal election. (if you want to call a liberal minority a loss) It has everything to do with ending the mandates that clearly go against the charter of rights of every individual in this country. It also is exploiting the hate speech from trudeau that people opposed to the mandates endure on an almost weekly basis. It is about allowing small businesses to open just as large businesses are allowed to do.

I will approach the border blockade in southern alberta like the government has with mandates. There are other border crossings that can be used. It is the truckers choice whether they want to use the coutts crossing or other crossings into/out of the country. Yes it will cost them more money and time, but they still have that choice...just like unvaccinated have the "choice" to not be vaccinated, but in order to do anything (work, go to a restaurant, watch their child play sports or dance, etc) it costs them time and money! So you guys are crying foul about this border blockade, but it is in essence the same oppression that you are cheering on for the unvaccinated. Think about that for a second. Feeling ashamed yet? You should.

I know many people who had omicron. Most found out that they had it when taking a rapid test before going to see an older loved one. They didn't know they had it, and never showed any symptoms during their quarantine time either. So why is the country still shut down again?

It is true that we give politicians the legal and moral authority to run things for their term between elections. But we do not elect those people thinking they will stomp on our rights set out in the charter of rights and freedoms. I believe it even states in the charter that even under emergency measures, that the charter of rights trumps all?

Sorry when your group is saying they are there to change or remove the government it’s definitely not there for covid issues.

Don t send or allow a group founded by people who have had all kinds of moral problems represent you on an issue. Saying your going to harm the pm and his family even on this site has been alluded to and expecting that someone is going to sit down and speak with you is bizarre. But that’s the bizarre game the far right is playing. The sooner we all realize they are all playing us the sooner something better will come about.

I don’t know who the negotiators are. I support their cause, but am not involved. Look up the whistle stop Café guys videos. Do those look at all threatening? How about the families walking the streets with a Canadian flag and cheering on the honking trucks and vehicles. Do they look threatening?

Would it not be reasonable to expect that if you organize this convoy that you’ve contacted all the parties and said ok we re coming to discuss our issues when can we meet? Or something to that effect?
