If you recall when this all started the packing plants the equipment plants nearly everything with close contact workers were being shut down people were sick with covid. Businesses needed guidelines and a vaxx to curb this. We are no where near as bad a as we were back then people have a short memory.

I m disappointed the vaxx didn’t completely protect but it has completely protected people several times over for effects, death, and transmission.

10% of people running around not following has made the true benefit unattainable. As you can see 10% is a lot in a Country of 40 million. Then they go around saying see it’s not working when in fact they have no idea Of rhe business money side which actually tells the human story.

Physicians call Moe's statements "false"

On social media, Regina infectious diseases specialist Dr. Alex Wong called Moe's two statements about vaccines not preventing people from contracting COVID-19 and immunization not reducing transmission "false."

"Many studies show 3 doses of mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) provides 60-70% protection (vaccine effectiveness, VE) vs Omicron infection," he said Saturday on Twitter.

"If you don't get infected, then you don't transmit the virus."

Wong wrote even with Omicron being more contagious than previous variants, three doses of vaccine can make a big difference, preventing people from getting really sick and reducing the chance of being infected.

Dr. Hassan Masri agrees with Wong.

There might be many things that are still unclear when it comes to COVID-19 because the virus and research associated with it are moving really fast, said the associate professor from the University of Saskatchewan in an interview with CBC.

However, from a scientific point of view, Moe's message about vaccines not reducing transmission is incorrect and a damaging statement, said the Saskatoon physician on Saturday.

"There is no two sides to this story," said Masri.

"Vaccines do decrease the transmission of the virus, do decrease the ability to actually acquire the virus in the first place."

I have read many articles which state 6 months after receiving your second dose your protection against Delta is very low and against Omicron is non existent. A booster certainly brings the level of protection back up but the research I have looked at says this begins to wane rapidly after about 70 days.
Certainly many vaccinated and unvaccinated people in hospital.

Or read this from the National Post:”Why the double-vaccinated in some places are testing positive for Covid more often than the unvaccinated.”

So the 10% of unnvacinated are making up proportionately a much larger number of hospital cases compared to the 80-90% of the vaccinated group.

I actually want to thank Mr Moe for pushing and not bending to the extreme which he has to deal with within the right politically in this province. That couldn’t have been easy.

He pushed the vaxx and the mandates which led to the majority of people vaxxed and people be smarter with their interactions. Many business were able to get back on track. This has led us to be in better position to handle Omnicron which appear to still be dangerous as there are deaths and serious illness still occurring but the rate is lower due to the disease and our commitment. In 3 or 4 weeks hopefully can get back to more normal. Time will tell.

Actually Forage if you become unemployed due to the federal government’s vaccine mandate for federally regulated employees you are not eligible for unemployment insurance, an insurance plan every worker pays into.
