So what are you all hearing for premium prices for Gars or Just solutions. I know it’s not finalized but hearing up 30 to 50 percent. Told by neighbor who was enrolled in Gars this year that they paid his contract shortfalls. Not bad for a insurance program that doesn’t constantly shame us because we only put in 30 or 40 percent of the premium in with province and feds paying rest.

I've yet to find out... Suppose i should sign the "financial release" and find out where I stand.
I got lucky this year, and i'm hoping that they'll be fair when it comes to reassessing... If I took settlement prices at harvest time and multiplied it by my yield (phukin terrible), I would have qualified for a MASSIVE (pocket change for the big players I'm sure) payout. I ended up clawing back the entire payout, and put a few extra dollars in my own jeans after selling for historically batshit crazy prices.
That said, I dont think provincial crop insurance is going to be cheap this year either...
