The Ten Comments of Agriville written by AB5. Lots of fluff like a politician.
Ab5 you always like digging up past posts and threads. Why don't you do it this time and see which poster started the whole Covid Shitstorm after about dozen of us came out of the Agriville penalty box, you know the one you avoided.
Everybody was falling the rules set out by the Agriville Adm. We were discussing all kind of different topics being brought up on the Marketing thread. This poster came back and within two threads he was back on the Covid Topic. Much to the disgust of several posters who had enough of the Covid threads.
But, you won't do that because your a Fence Rider and the poster who ignored Rural Issues rule is not Agstar DLM, Chuck, or I.

What I can't understand is why all of those on the chicken little side of the debate refused to engage with the conspiracy theorists when they were posting in rural issues. Denigrating the posters the topics and the forum with every name in the book, not worth your time. But as soon as the debate moved back over here, they post without abandon again. What changed? Why is it acceptable to engage the very same posters, on the very same topics, with the exact same lack of civility in Commodity marketing, but not in Rural issues?
If and when I break my own rules. Please bring it to my attention. I tend to get caught up in the moment at times too.
Picking on Chuck doesn't count. I will continue to treat him with just as much respect as he has earned, with just as much respect as he offers other posters. No actually, I am incapable of lowering myself to that juvenile level.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Jan 30, 2022, 11:05.

But it is a shame, good posters who were rejoining the discussion during the period of civility have gone quiet again. Marketing topics are lost in the noise.

Much easier for you to see good posters leave Agriville then calling out your admiring debating Buddy.
Is it any wonder that DLM chewed you up like a piece of gum on the other thread.Last edited by foragefarmer; Jan 30, 2022, 11:18.

“ In 1943 the following directive was issued to all communists in the United States. It read,
When certain obstructionists become too irritating, label them after suitable buildups as fascist or nazi or anti Semitic and use the prestige of anti fascist intolerance organizations to discredit them. In the public mind, constantly associate those who oppose us with those names which already have a bad smell. The association will, after enough repetition, become fact in the public mind. â€

Thanks for being reliable and predictable chuck.
Unless of course he has been a 12-year-old girl for the last 20 years, in which case that would be appropriate.

Agriville is a great soap box for those that want a few others to hear them speak. Online is a funny place too that some can be a major celebrity on some website but in the real world they are a nothing. Sometimes its good to hear stuff to get a different perspective. There is a few that I know that post on facebook that have a real following. The reality is that they are absolute zero's and have no local respect. I guess the bible says something like " A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown." ?
For me its sad that there are those that want to see people leave if they don't agree with them and it appears there are lots. The rage that so many show over different opinions spells the end for dialogue. Personally I see agriville more as a gossip site than some meaningful ag website. Like others said if moderators were serious about keeping the rules things would have changed long ago.

Seems threads like this pop up every so many months. The usual few asshats get a warning and tone it down or bugger off for awhile. Then the cycle repeats. We’ve lost guys like grassfarmer and farmaholic who added great dialogue and debate because of lack of civility on both sides. Seems though the biggest thorn uses lol a lot.

Threads were way more civil and posters were following the Agriville Adm request.
In fact the first poster to call him out for his Covid thread was putting up marketing charts for other farmers on here. Exactly what Commodity Marketing is all about.
Come on speak up!

Then can you kindly tell me what I can do about it. If the admin won't do anything, what am I supposed to do?
Last I checked, it takes at least two to have a debate. Who is guilty of engaging the culprit and encouraging the situation we are in now?Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Jan 30, 2022, 19:29.
