Proroguing parliament is basically a caretaker mode for the govt. They cant really do anything during such a time and only have maybe 3 weeks to a month to reconvene with a new throne speech and cabinet.

People arent going to be happy for that either. Every move Trudeau makes to cling to power just weakens him more.

If that’s the case the PPC and CPC better get their shit TOGETHER and unite. PPC has momentum and is by far the best option, even the name symbolizes unity of the people.

If the conservatives would do the right thing and give otoole the boot, it wouldn't be necessary to court the PPC.

If the Conservatives would have either Pierre P. or Leslyn Lewis as leader, the ability and appeal of either of those two would suck up the vast majority of conservative votes and swing a significant number of center-left voters as well.

Not that I'm opposed to him, but Bernier would disappear into the vortex of CPC support, if he stays his course.

This is the Liberal's worst nightmare, especially because the Trudeau bully-blight has tainted every potential leader in their smelly, rat-infested camp - they got nothin'.

A solid Conservative leader with a party that represents the people would just so beautifully expose the Liberals as the decaying manure pile that they've become.
