Just like our oil had to do when Trudeau blocked it off. Nobody cared then. Use the trains. Lol.

So what do you have to say now Keyboard Freedom Fighters.

Let's hear it from all the Spin doctors with their political Fluff answers.

    Dlm, a question.
Since we live in a democracy with freedom of speech, do you think there is such a thing as an unacceptable view? And do you think the prime ministers comment in any way helped to unite the country against this Fringe minority group?
And if there is such a thing as an unacceptable view, who gets to decide that?
Is it fixed in time, or does that evolve as society evolves?

AOC tweets her support for the blockades - a bit surprising, but true!

    Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
    @AOC

"The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable.

Activists take that discomfort w/ the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small & grows.

To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable... that’s the point"

Ah yes, Alexandria it appears to be growing. Although it may not be your preference of protest since there's been no fire or bloodshed - just civil, intelligent efforts at dialogue.

At least, on the protestors part.

Too late for that. This weekend will tip the scale permanently.

There are little kids in the protest now in Ottawa.

The police wont touch it. The military wont either.

And do you think our economy can function in its already crippled state when you imprison the most productive members and impound the equipment that makes the world go round?

it is law enforcements job to keep the border open. Two wrongs don t make a right.

If your scenario plays out. How do you expect the average hard working moderate center silent majority Canadian to respond?
The people who have been indifferent to vaccine mandates and lockdowns. Don't have any blind political ideologies.
When they watch military take down of some unarmed fellow Blue collar Canadians, and destruction of their livelihoods, do you think they will truck and go back to watching their hockey game, or will this galvanize them against such heavy handed dictatorial type actions. It may just unleash something much much bigger than what they are trying to quell right now.
And remember, those unfortunate folks in the Ottawa apartments downtown are 100% reliant on all of the hard-working Blue collar Canadians to keep them alive, the opposite is most certainly not true. These people hold all the cards. The threat of unifying the silent majority (which the political class has worked so hard to divide) has to be the biggest possible concern of any government actions.
