Was watching a trucker videoing Ottawa. CBC and the French network were seen finally interviewing some truckers. Media needs to get their face out of the government trough and report what’s there to preserve what shred of credibility they have. Then maybe the population at large can decide for themselves if the support the convoy. Trying to cover up facts and discredit it only helps the convoy now. If they are idiots, their intentions sinister, or message unacceptable; the people will make up their minds.

I think they were better just putting the run on MOST CBC scriptwriters.
The problem is they edit till they get what the "need".

What was it 99 % recovery rate, if you get it, that was with original strain. Omicron less severe yet, but let’s keep jabbing children and masking them up. If you want it to help shore up your immunity go ahead but the coercion tactics are b.s.
Edit to add, it’s just 2 weeks, we just need 70% vaccinated to achieve herd immunity, then 80%, then 100% plus countless boosters. The powers that be keep pushing and moving goalposts because they can, that’s why truckers etc are finally pushing back.

Yes, if we are going to threaten to ration medical services to those who are (supposedly) careless enough to not get vaccinated, then there is a laundry list of folks who need to be even further behind in the queue. Sky divers, rodeo cowboys, drug addicts, alcoholics, smokers, obese, anyone with an STD, sports players etc.

The truckers should have waited at least a month when the numbers are going to drop here and then if restricting mandates are not being reduced then do their thing .
Right now was simply bad timing with the omicron wave at its peak . They should have have thought that through a little more .
Although the support they had was great , one of the largest peaceful rallies in Canadian history, minus a few bad “actors” but it’s wearing thin fast now .
A month from now they may have had more of a leg to stand on . Protests are protests but timing is just as important, especially now . A protest after the numbers drop , and they will would have been more effective.
It will be interesting to see if Canada follows European countries in dropping all mandates and vax passes or continues full on .
Hopefully a peaceful end to Ottawa and at the border crossings.
Having at least some dialogue though would help diffuse the current situation though one would think ?

Interesting that you watched the waves in other countries. But you failed to see the vaccine breaking down. I warned almost a year ago that the vax would fail here, because it was failing in Europe. Five or six months before it started to happen here.
