Re convoy messaging: as far as the CA gov't changing border measures for trucks, it wouldn't have mattered if they had because the US has a no vax/no entry policy as well.

So, convoy is on Wellington, House of Parliament is there but, the US Embassy is close also, craft the message to both countries that the vaccine mandate for truckers is wrong (if that is your message). Unless both countries listened and complied, all efforts are a waste.

Further, although we all want to say it, if you walk around saying, "f**k Trudeau, do you really think any ranking Liberal will meet with you to discuss concerns? Not a chance.

It is an amazing amount raised in a short time. There's enough there for a water treatment plant on a northern Reserve.

This media is not your friend. They are part of the reason we are in this mess. They think they are another political party pushing their agenda on us. Our country has turned into a joke perpetuated by the head joker hiding from people who do actual work and are having their rights trampled on.

Were they empty promises? Many have been critical of the money going to First Nations? So which is it?
No money is going there and it should be or is money going there and something else a reason why
There is no clean water? Politicians want to spin this but the question I ask has to be answered before we deal with the solution.
              Would you agree?

9.2 probably pales in comparison in to what Trudeau has profited the last 2 years.

re Braveheart comment about press reminds me of a line of Churchills : something to the effect "Never get in a pissing match with anyone that buys ink by the gallon"

Too many loose cannons (bad flags, statue and sacred site desecration) but mainly, no cohesive message and the assaults on media were big downfalls.

There was no spokesperson at a mic. No press releases. Media is your friend in these situations as they deliver your message broadly. The convoy alienated their best resource.

The only ones to succeed this weekend were the Liberals unfortunately. Mad Max and OToole and the rest of the fractured Conservatives floundered trying walk a fence that was too electrified for either to stay on.

I think you mean the BEST example on how to fail. Commander Thornton explains.

It will accomplish one thing for sure. The Conservatives will never again have a majority.

This is a vaccination mandate - not a restrictions protest.

They did such a bad job they don't even know what they are actually protesting about, and also completely failed to put a face on it, create any human emotion story, or any of the very basic requirements of even a marginally successful protest. Exactly as Braveheart said.

Instead they have portrayed a bunch of rednecks disrespecting everything they come in contact with. Dancing on the soldiers grave, waving Nazi flags, vulgarity, stealing food that was for the homeless, maskless shopping pushes. Ya, they're doing a great job.

The antivax crowd is a minority.
