Why does freedom for expressing and defending truth frighten so many?
Why are there still those who would enable tyranny by suppressing facts and denying the reality of mounting totalitarianism?
I'm all for removing of mandates and freedom of choice, but it would be refreshing to actually not talk about it here, especially when there a forum on Agrivile already dedicated to it.

In a coffee shop on Main Street Davidson, are farmers going to be talking right now about the canola price for more than five minutes? I doubt it. I would imagine most of the conversation would shift to this amazing convoy.
I know what you are saying, but this whole thing matters more than canola going up twenty cents. So it gets talked about more right now.
It’ll pass. Once society is opened back up as it must be, it’ll pass, and more usual priorities of conversation will resume. I guarantee you that!
In interesting times like this, the interesting things get talked about IMO.

"Has Anyone on Here Taken Vioxx? "
The author is Burnt who of coarse was the first to reply to your thread.
Posters immediately jumped all over it as to why Burnt started the Covid thread on Marketing and why wasn't it posted on Rural Issues.
Agriville Adm clearly stated they wanted all Covid threads on Rural Issues.
Not sure why Agriville Adm didn't tell Burnt to move the thread to Rural Issues, but we all have to keep in mind Burnt is the one who started the "Has Anyone on Here Taken Vioxx?" thread.
Until Burnt posted his thread all other poster were following Agriville Adm request.

I hate to say it, but the majority of the posters on Agriville are now the red neck ......anti everything.....me....me....me.....
Disgusting
And then you wonder why agriculture has no support from the average working person (even those working folks in the West), never mind the individuals up East that have roots in the West. Time to grow up!

This tweet about the freedom convey this am and that is getting lots of likes really bothers me:
They are not "truckers". Truckers are out doing their job right now.
I'm not sure who these guys are, farmers who own trucks would be my guess.
Real truckers are out making a living right now.
#FreedomConvoy2022 #GoHomeTruckers
You're just pissing regular folks off now.

That is how many urban folks view us and some farmers and most on agriville are doing all they can to confirm. So many farmers are their own worst enemy

His lavish praise is far too ebullient and mostly undeserved. Not to mention quite baseless since it is factually incorrect!
I like to provide a wide tent that includes my favorite fan so I won't rebuke him in public. However let me clearly state that his exuberant adulation should be taken with a grain of salt, just because idolizing someone, as he does me, may cause perception issues.
I 'm deeply sorry to state that I simply cannot claim to be all that he ascribes to me.
But stick around, favorite fan, and I'll send you more free merch!! (BTW, did you share the rubber ducky you asked for last time with your lil bro? 🙂

That truly seems to be the root of all of the division on this site, the small handful of bitter sore losers looking for another cause du jour. Go right back to the beginning of agriville, and it is the exact same very vocal, and almost always vitriolic minority on the same side of every one of these issues.
Perhaps it is time to let go of that and move on.
