Internet trolls are just that. They are the vocal minority. Goes for both sides. The side which gets the most bodies out to anything is the one that wins. I always repeat myself but the American Revolution was supported by maybe 30% of the Americans. 70% were indifferent or happy British subjects. It was the 30% were really pissed off and took action. The other sides 20% who really hated the revolution fled to Canada. Any of us with old roots in eastern Canada have a good possibility with roots who were UEL.

Daughter out east says her age group likes him. I said no really thought Lewis would get better support in the GTA knowing what the background of most of my daughters co workers and friends are. She says they like that he is smart, can talk full sentence without stammering, and speaks his mind and is direct. Also says lots of trucks on Bloor street at 4 am on her way home after shift at work. Looks like Toronto has got themselves a convoy.

I like Pierre. But after reading this I wonder if it all matters anyway:
Exposed: Klaus Schwab's School For Covid Dictators, Plan for 'Great Reset'
By: Michael Lord of RAIR Foundation USA
December 6, 2021: Economist Ernst Wolff believes that a hidden alliance of political and corporate leaders is exploiting the pandemic with the aim of crashing national economies and introducing a global digital currency.
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/schwabs-young-global-leaders-school-anthony-laing-nomad-
The best way to combat their designs, Wolff says, is simply to educate people about what is happening, and for them to realize that the narrative of the “super-dangerous virus†is a lie that has been designed to manipulate them into accepting things that run contrary to their own interests. If even 10% of ordinary citizens become aware of this and decide to take action, it could thwart the elite’s plans and perhaps open a window for ordinary citizens to take back control over their own destinies.

I'll be watching how the Conservatives act/react to the Ottawa convoy(going forward).. I see some have already distanced themselves from it.. If the Party continues to do so.. Maverick is the Only option, because the Conservatives will just betray Western Canada as always...
But if the Conservatives do show some resolve and stand up for Canadians and our Freedoms, then I will lend them my vote(depending on the Leader) one more time to rid us of the Liberal and NDP SOCIALISM.

The chess game begins for the parties involved.
Many questions,
Mr. Butts will be pressured into playing the long game with the protesters now because of the PM's bullheaded ego, but a better approach would have been a short well chosen 50 word response given by a cabinet minister, preferably not Ms.Freeland, condescending 101 vs T800's probably not compatible.
Will the liberal voters start to see JT as damaged goods by his arrogance and his inability to relate with Canadians?
Will Ms. Freeland tell JT, step aside you fool, your hurting my political career as the next PM by allowing these protestors to gain conservative support.
Mr. Butts knows JT will not do well against P.Poilievre one on one.
It will be interesting to see how JT leaves Parliament Hill, in a limo or kicking and screaming.
Once he"s unemployed will he try for his !A licence?
The longer this protest goes on what does it do for the Conservative voter support?
Eventually this will end, but as far as which party will have gained more support from it, you would think the Conservatives, but I haven't understood the cerebral activity of the Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa voters for some time.
Maybe most of the protestors are simply people who voted against the liberals and are now just voicing their frustrations and nothing will change in the next election.
I'm still waiting on Karma.

Maybe part of the problem is we distance ourselves from these problems instead of dealing with them. Can't help to think most of these folks would go unnoticed on a daily basis just doing there job not making waves . Somebody finally crapped in there cornflakes one too many times and enough is enough. Time for ALL politicians to get back to work if my local groceries store clerk who worked the last 2 years straight for $15 /hr can do it don't see why my members of parliament who make $100000.00 ( base wage ) can't go back to the office.

This whole topic is being discussed at length on multiple Reddit subs and one big sticking point that keeps coming up in posts is the fact that PP has never had a job outside politics and while he has the gift of talk like a politician, he can't personally relate to people on the street. Too rigid and robot-like. Common consensus is that he is the leader now by sheer support in the party, but he will lose in the election unless people get tired of the Liberals like they did with Martin.
Of course, his surname had nothing to do with him landing the job.
