Many questions,
Mr. Butts will be pressured into playing the long game with the protesters now because of the PM's bullheaded ego, but a better approach would have been a short well chosen 50 word response given by a cabinet minister, preferably not Ms.Freeland, condescending 101 vs T800's probably not compatible.
Will the liberal voters start to see JT as damaged goods by his arrogance and his inability to relate with Canadians?
Will Ms. Freeland tell JT, step aside you fool, your hurting my political career as the next PM by allowing these protestors to gain conservative support.
Mr. Butts knows JT will not do well against P.Poilievre one on one.
It will be interesting to see how JT leaves Parliament Hill, in a limo or kicking and screaming.
Once he"s unemployed will he try for his !A licence?
The longer this protest goes on what does it do for the Conservative voter support?
Eventually this will end, but as far as which party will have gained more support from it, you would think the Conservatives, but I haven't understood the cerebral activity of the Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa voters for some time.
Maybe most of the protestors are simply people who voted against the liberals and are now just voicing their frustrations and nothing will change in the next election.
I'm still waiting on Karma.

Preliminary police data shows street crime has reportedly fallen since the Freedom Convoy blockade began at Parliament in Ottawa.
Street crime drops in Ottawa during Freedom Convoy
The district saw 31 police calls for robbery, assault, drug trafficking, public drunkenness, stolen vehicles, store break-ins and other crimes in the week prior to the protest. There were three reports of street crime since the protest began for mischief, robbery and auto theft.
They will begging them to stay soon.

Running to lead the "Party" now means bringing in the beer, music and good times?
Pierre looks like he will be the life of the party! Party on freedom takers.

The protestors are committing the crimes now and the police have turned a blind eye but that is changing.

Can any of the "truckers" still in the Ottawa area confirm that this is a real ad which appeared in an Ottawa community newspaper recently? It was posted on a twitter account today. https://twitter.com/davethegroove/status/1500567471857745927
In trying to confirm the photo, I did find Poilievre put up a He Is Risen Facebook page last April and included a photo of the biblical passage Matthew 28:5 with He has risen underlined in pen.
I have wondered why the convoy hung around so long. Maybe this ad with the biblical passage changed from "He has risen" to "He is Risen!" beside Poilievre's photo explains it. And here you have been claiming the "truckers" were just freedom fighters and political prisoners. I had no idea they could be the apostles for the second coming.Last edited by dmlfarmer; Mar 6, 2022, 16:51.
