Now “Go Fund Me” is to be investigated in the USA as to the ongoings around the truck convoy. GFM is backpedaling pretty hard and trying to make this go away!

That’s not how the law works. You can’t steal money and when you get caught just refund it and hope the powers that be will just let it go.

This is really internationally interesting and if nothing else the convoy has shown the world how corrupt our current Canadian federal government has become!

What happens if the USA government finds that certain Canadian politicians put undue pressure on a USA company pushing them into breaking the law?

Seeing where some of the endorsements are coming from and the immediate support for those looking for a minister's position eventually ( commonly known as ass kissing ) I am already getting concerned that Pierre maybe pulled the trigger too soon.

I like Poilievre's sharp tongue and his speeches without the uh uh uh uh uh uh. But some endorsements are not worth toilet paper.

Easy to follow for intelligent people. He might have to talk slower and dumb it down a bit to gain liberal voters.

Really won't matter who gets nominated, the Cons will lose again. The toxic side of the party was exposed for full view in Ottawa and PP led the charge.

This whole topic is being discussed at length on multiple Reddit subs and one big sticking point that keeps coming up in posts is the fact that PP has never had a job outside politics and while he has the gift of talk like a politician, he can't personally relate to people on the street. Too rigid and robot-like. Common consensus is that he is the leader now by sheer support in the party, but he will lose in the election unless people get tired of the Liberals like they did with Martin.

Cons party is wasting ammunition
Trudeau fate was sealed on election night, he is done, running the clock
Next election will be Carney or Freeland with a progressive program x ??? with a ??? program.

I mean Trudeau is about as flawed human being as can be and he got elected. I doubt PP gets less seats than Scheer or Otool did.

Think about the counter argument Trudeau will have to make to maneuver out of this. He will have to convince Canadians to accept more mandates when 60% of the public are done with them. I dont see how he is not much weaker after this.

When was the last time in the modern world where a leader was forced to flee the capital. None of the other MPs were airlifted out. Ford, Kenney and Legault didnt bail.

He was trying to sell the violent insurrection angle and being a target and victim, but these guys never showed any intent like that, never got near the HoC, it has a concrete barrier and snipers on the roof. His cottage is on the same grounds behind steel bars and guarded by our secret service.

Internet trolls are just that. They are the vocal minority. Goes for both sides. The side which gets the most bodies out to anything is the one that wins. I always repeat myself but the American Revolution was supported by maybe 30% of the Americans. 70% were indifferent or happy British subjects. It was the 30% were really pissed off and took action. The other sides 20% who really hated the revolution fled to Canada. Any of us with old roots in eastern Canada have a good possibility with roots who were UEL.
