Yes, I can see the difference between modern day lynchings and a health measure that by any objective measure is beneficial in saving lives. If trudeau is endangering the soul of the nation it's in large part because the CPC screws up every opportunity it has to take control. The country has changed and it won't change back. Over the last couple of years it has become evident that bad actors became involved when BLM got active. BLM had legitimate concerns which were diluted by a bunch of malcontents grabbing the spotlight. Similar circumstances the past couple of weeks with the Freedom Convoy and various demonstrations and blockades. It starts with a legitimate concern and quickly becomes corrupted. The Maverick Party should have been kicked to the curb right away. They took it from a human rights issue (which you may or may not agree with) to a hate trudeau movement. I have absolutely no respect for trudeau or the wexit movement. The malcontents on either side will not be constructive.

The difference being that the truckers are actively seeking out and removing the bad apples. BLM didn't, or even encouraged them.

This is heading exactly in the direction true democratic Canadians are wanting…….forcing the hand of the dictator into first cutting off supplies to Canadian citizens, then a state of emergency, followed by the military (or police) to remove peaceful Canadians.

I don’t think it makes a difference one way or another. There’s no point in trying to appease anyone. All this sustainability, verified beef virtue signalling etc that is being done to be seen as trusted in the publics eyes will just backfire. Look at what the petroleum industry did to clean up their act to appease, consultants and paper trails up the wazoo and they’re still vilified for providing a reliable energy source. Besides if you look at some of the social media responses some people believe farmers could never afford such equipment and it’s all being loaned out by Mother Deere herself. That’s how disconnected this country is.

Most news segments are now saying "truckers and farmers", havent heard too many say it's a protest of soccer moms and downtown professionals. (not saying some aren't involved)
