Yup that's what Pierre Poilievre said in Feb 2020. Wow! Look like he is doing an Ohtool flip flop on protests! LOL

PP supports the Ottawa occupation that is taking away the rights and freedoms of those who live in Ottawa. As a consequence PP supports the shut down of many businesses in Ottawa while the occupiers hold a 10 day party? Mot to mention all the confederate and nazi flags along with all the lawlessness, bullying, harassment and intimidation.

Not only that he is supporting an occupation that with their memorandum calls for the government to be overthrown? So now PP has to explain why he wants to run a party and lead a country that condones letting protestors off all types make government policy and overthrow government.

So with all his apparent previous baggage, now PP has to explain how he was opposed to indigenous blockades, but now supports antivaxer blockades and occupation. Good luck with that Pierre!

yup two different issues. Both require leadership that is lacking in the current prime minister. Until the nation sits down and figures out a "new deal" with first nations problems will continue. IMO the whole reservation system is outdated. The problems associated with the current Indian act so bad that a new treaty needs to be written.
In the current situation across Canada the refusal of Trudeau to meet with the protest leaders is so poor. Ottawa has a mess on its hands and having a meeting with a select group would not hurt the situation. Some of the lefties want the military to go in. Wow, talk about the want to create martyrs.
It comes down to the hearts and minds of the people. The left can't grasp the reality that beyond the extreme example of the protestors, there is a heck of lot of people that are sick and tired of the mandates. The feds have lost the support of a lot people because they havent been able to show a finish line and that line keeps changing.
Back to Poilievre, its great that his name is out now. Any crap that the left wants to tie to him will come out in the next little while. If he can pass scrutiny its far better than having to deal with issues in an election campaign. Trudeau's own black face sandal is a great example.

I rest my case Sask…. The demise of their flagship… Aggie and Chuckle still need to create misery… hence their special lessons to bless us.

I suppose they blessed us before the demise of the centre of the universe in 2012… history does repeat doesn’t it!!!

              Cheers!

I see the usual suspects can't answer the question. If unlawful blockades are the way to run the country and make changes to public policy, then you want to open the door to every protest to do the same?

Pierre is career long time politician with little other experience. Now with the scrutiny of a leadership campaign he will have to answer the hard questions, like how you can be opposed to one unlawful blockade and then say the next one is okay. LOL

                    Good luck Pierre!

Thanks again for the well wishes for Pierre.

It will take all the positive thoughts we can muster to overcome this corrupt current federal government. Every positive word and thought during these times is much appreciated.

The difference in protests are - one has paid protesters
                        And the other has Canadians

What’s the same with all protests. Trudeau sucks

Poilievre will learn the same lesson as Kenney. Serving as one of Harper's attack dogs does not prepare one to be a leader.
