Hmm, how long until there's a backlash against the nitwit Maverick Party? When it comes, it will come hard and fast. The guys that are still in Ottawa, Coutts, wherever obviously don't have much constructive to do. They'll get charged and run out of town and the vast majority will be glad to see the end of them.

Sorry tweety, you have no argument. It used to be illegal to sell wheat in this country. At one time we interned Japanese people and slapped a tax on chinese ones.
Just cause something is on the books doesnt make it right. You just havent seen a group of people with real commitment to a cause and nothing left to lose.
If the govt was trying to slap a pass system on FN, I would be right there beside them.
But you are dead on right about Trudeau. That much we can agree.Last edited by jazz; Feb 7, 2022, 14:36.

Trudeau is a hiding POS that needs to be seen. Heard. He is beyond pathetic - but he is our elected Prime Minister. Police need to do their job. The government needs to do theirs - say what they will do, what's the plan and do it.
Police and the government have let the public down from inactivity. This is beyond embarrassing as a country.

The most positive result of this fiasco is that trudeau is toast. The Liberals will be very displeased with his lack of leadership. You can bet the knives are out. The Liberal party has, in the past, been ruthless in disposing of leaders who have lost their appeal. That's one reason they have election success; very pragmatic. The CPC needs to learn this so that they can win an election and bring some social and fiscal responsibility to the federal government.

You sad privileged straight white male. You haven't had to work for much in the protesting arena have you? First time in your life you may have to deal with what minority groups deal with on a daily basis.
The Liberals have clearly said they will make changes based on advice from Doctors and scientists on when to move National restrictions and mandates. Not a group led by white supremists.
Most will get tired of sitting on the street without fuel and food eventually. Or the Police might do their job and then its over fairly quick. Or the residences are gonna snap - and that might be really ugly.
As a protestor you have to know when to leave.

All it takes for evil to prevail… is for good people to do nothing.
Ottawa Has An Obligation to host these peace loving protestors, not steal their fuel and food.
You don’t understand democratic principles nor have compassion for other humans who have valid fears and rights not to have their bodies invaded by genetically modified immunity agents that no one can predict what impact they actually have in 5 years from now. You are mistaken Tweety.
Cheers

“People previously committed to protest, even when it breaks the law, are among the loudest critics of the convoy, while formerly rock-ribbed law and order conservatives are cheering protesters even as they illegally block streets in the capital,†writes Carson Jerema. “No more ‘Defund the police,’ now it’s ‘Call in the troops.’ No more ‘Clear the blockades,’ now it’s ‘People have a charter right to express themselves.’ â€

How about crowd sourcing funds to help any police involved in this who resign in protest. Help them with living expenses, help them with legal bills if they believe they were requested to do something illegal.

And I met Brian, I liked him, really respect what he is doing with Agopen gps, and I stood up for him earlier in the Covid debates. But this is getting ridiculous.
