You know what else has been delayed? Freedom. Freedom has been delayed for two years. One year of summer fallow would only help us in the end if the crops can’t get seeded. Margins the following year would be very handsome. And fertilizer would be in the tank.

It's costing them 100's of thousands of dollars per day for policing and many of there citizen are having their lives disrupted and in some cases are unable to go to work as their employer is shut down.

Who knows who many millions if not billions of dollars is going to be lost because of the illegal blockades. But, of coarse you'll put a spin on it to fit narrative. Try to remember that the residents and business of Ottawa and Windsor are not responsible for the Covid mandates, so why are they being punished?

As for summer following you go ahead and watch your top soil blow away, and miss a growing season. If you honestly think if you skip a year of not putting in a crop that the following year you will make up for lost revenue from the previous year, maybe you should write a book on that one. Sitting on the sideline with record commodity price will also be fun to watch.
