I have an answer for that. Because the majority of people have fallen so far behind in life, personally but more so financially that they cling to the govt skirt hoping for salvation. They dont want you to get any further ahead either.

You will often see some of the most stringent vaxx nazis advocating for things like UBI, climate change, reparations, taxes on business etc. Its their personal failure and belief system writ large on the population.

We all know what chuck is angling for no matter what cause he gets behind.

It will be interesting to see how many people go out to eat next week? Lots of people have got used to ordering in now and not having to deal with reservations, possible poor service, tipping and just the time and effort of going out.
I and many people I know are already planning on getting together for food and drinks like pre-scamdemic times!!
Now to get some lunch meetings organized for farmers to get out and network/socialize!!
And get a guarantee from government that Ag In Motion will go ahead NO MATTER WHAT!!!

The Sask Party has never been that good at listening to science and medical health experts and they don't seem to mind if a few vulnerable people die because freedom is more important. But some ones death or pain only matter if it is yours or someone you love.
Why your concern if the van is working?

Alberta to have a press conference tonight, my guess would be similar announcement for Alberta?
Joel Lightbound (Liberal Quebec MP) just came out against his governments divisive mandates.

What Trudeau doesn’t understand is people who will go through self sacrifice for the benefit of the greater good of everyone!!

          God bless freedom loving Canadians!!!

When Saskatchewan was under the shadow of the NDP I always remembered how they said times were tough and it was as good as it was going to get. Even after the austerity to fix Devines blank cheque book there was little hope peddled because their strategy of keeping people down, and no inward migration worked to their advantage. However, they became stale themselves living in the reality they created and people booted them for someone selling some hope. What is left of the ndp today are a bunch of negative opposition with no better stories of hope.

Now Chuck has a conundrum. Organized unionized labor, from Eastern Canada no less, is fighting mandatory vaccination.
he City of Hamilton’s transit union has just announced that they’re going to fight the mandates:

“ATU 107 members have voted in favour of proceeding to arbitration over the threat of mass terminations due to the City’s new unfair Vaccination policy.”

I don’t know. My wife bought clippers and was doing a great job cutting the boys and my hair. Once hair salons opened she quit. But seriously I don’t think people will go back to restaurants and bars like before. Sure the passport thing does contribute but even for vaccinated people like me I hate getting carded for a bowl of soup like I’m buying ammunition. It will take time for a lot to get back into that frame of mind again. There’s a reason half way houses exist.

Well just remember to thank all involved in the convoys, they brought this about. I just had a very excited lady call me to say there are protestors on the Brooklyn bridge chanting pluck trudeau. What a wonderful day.

Keep the restrictions as long as you want. People are caring less and less.
                        Depends on the town.
Wainwright I was IDed but my underage daughter was not.
Stettler, masks your personal choice, plexiglas gone.
I think reservations will go up definitely. I can now take my son and his friend to WEM. (If lifted)
I know people with the first strains and it wasn't funny. Meeting a lot now had Omicron and its just a short flu.
My third shot? It was a half dose of the same identical as other 2. It will be my last until a new killer comes along. Sorry, but until it's life threatening to the majority again its over over done finished goodbye piss off stop talking walk away history. Just like 1920?

Sheepwheat, you never leave the --cking farm, how would you catch covid? What about those that continued to work and be in the touch with the public this entire time? From people stocking store shelves, to education, to health care. Oh right I forget you are a me me me type person. You fit well with many others on here.

For the most part I have been able to go out, enjoy social events, sporting events, restaurants, shopping, interprovincial travel with out much worry.

That's the advantage of being triple vaxed, in good health and wearing a good quality N95 mask when needed. Masks are certainly a pain. Vaccines cause little side effects when compared to covid.

The biggest issue is lots of people who come down with covid end up taking a week or more off to isolate and to recover, so the disruptions continue regardless.

The most vulnerable people will still be at higher risk of severe illness and that will include all the antivaxers some of whom will keep falling ill and ending up dead. But that's the antivaxers choice. But its not the choice of the vulnerable and elderly.

I have heard of antivaxers who have brought covid to their relatives and watched as seniors have passed away from covid before their time.

If passported have been allowed to enter wherever, that's how this spreads. 2-3 shots mean SFA now. Omicold everywhere vaxed or not. The terrified HAVE not patronized businesses, many are failing. Passports have negative consequences.
