No snow down here but camera shows the yard has lots.

        Soy up
        Corn up
        Wheat up
Canola down but why not it’s the one crop with none left.

We are not out of the drought and if it doesn’t start raining till June how shitty will crops germinate then die before it arrives if it does or not.

We can grow one more with 6 inches sun fall but if it doesn’t rain in June we will be half last years crop.

Couldn’t golf the other day because it froze and if you walk on the grass it dies. So had to wait two hours.

Fields are completely bare ground in the Peace. Snow doesn’t add much here anyway as it typically evaporates/runs off before the ground is thawed anyway, need rain in May and June though because it is bone dry.

Drew said he’s “optimistic” for the coming yr, not sure how you can get much worse than last year.
He did mention the areas that were in the heart of the drought could take some time to get moisture back into the region. Not quite sure how that equivalents into any optimism.

Germination could be a problem, especially if the winds start blowing ... which we know they always do.
Could be a large part of the province with bare ground real soon if this warmth continues.

The east side of Sask and Manitoba is usually wet.

Will skippy open the border or will he crawl away like a little weasel.
