My guess is the backroom boys are working a deal with the NDP proposing no vote of confidence to bring down the government and trudeau's gone within a few months to spend more time with his family. He bungled the election and has screwed the last month up royally. Nobody knows it better than the Liberal strategists and power brokers. They'll likely hold back to see which way the CPC leadership contest is going and then they'll groom their choice.

Full disclaimer, I have my tin foil hat properly adjusted and strapped down.
The deeper we get into this, the more I am believing that this is far far bigger than just some disgruntled truck drivers, they/we are just the unwitting pawns. This took some immense planning and coordination by people with a very deep understanding of law and politics and public opinion and media and optics and timing.
Given that, I would extrapolate to say that the end goal is much bigger than we have been led to believe.
To call it regime change would be a gross understatement. The CPC initially attached their wagon to this horse thinking they would be the beneficiaries. I think they have now realized that the end goal does not involve them either.

And without knowing any more details than that, I still see whatever agenda the instigators have couldn't possibly be worse than the current agenda. And as we have seen in recent decades, it doesn't matter which party is in power, the results are the same.

And no I don't think this is over just because a politician spoke out against it. This is only going to snowball from here. But the only thing I am certain of otherwise, is that Chuck won't like the outcome.

I feel Matt Gurney is a pretty fair journo, here is what he said about the protest. The bigger optics are accurate, its relatively peaceful, good PR etc.

But there is a secondary encampment thats being more protected. Now he thinks there are planners there but it maybe because police raided this a week ago and they are defensive.

The bridges out of Ontario are a very telling story. Thats the tip of the spear into Liberal and democrat strongholds. Michigan Wisconsin, swing states, GTA etc. Very interesting.
