I predict that in a year or two all these issues will be forgotten.
The seat of political power will be the same. The mindset of those voters will be the same.
The so called "ruling class" will be the same, garnering votes and power in the same way.
The victims belonging to the catch phrase "middle class" will have a lower standard of living. That is irrevocable by any scenario.
The ratio of people who write/cash checks will continue to widen.
The number of people who feel safer in an Orwellian world will increase.....for now.
I think it naive and premature to think that people are really interested in any big change..... for a long while yet.

Yes, and in the day to day, inflation will be the issue.
Low real growth will be the problem. I can't see a change in that in any way for a long time if ever.
So short term, 5-10 years, lower real standards of living or at least expectations, especially for the retirees.
Hopefully someday people will again look up to self made leaders.
Sacrifice for attainable improvements will again be possible.
The mindset that to keep treasure you must struggle.
It's been to easy for too long and you can't spend your way out of it.
Like his Dad, Justin has good qualities wasted by a personal disconnect from these facts of life.

I am surprised to see anyone thought the CPC has any influence.
Mr Treudau is definently the lightning rod but I don't think they arrived with any party loyalties.
They just want an attitude adjustment and goverment to back off.

We can hope it is over, but hopefully Canada will remember that the conservatives supported a group demanding the overthrow of a duly elected govt.
Just like the Trumpers did in the states.
As much as i dislike Trudeau , you cannot condone anarchy as the conservatives have done

While he did grant an injunction against the constant honking (thankfully), the justice said clearly that the convoy was fully within their rights as protesters.
It's bad government that leads to anarchy more so than bad people.
It's hard to understand why you give such strong support to Trudeau?
