News media journalists are being harassed trying to cover the protests. Social media is being used to try to discredit media from reporting the truth about the protests. This is a classic tactic of trying to discredit the media and prevent the truth from being reported. These tactics were used by an ex-president in his bid to overthrow an election.

Don't know how many saw the fired and doxxed nurse who confronted a cbc crew at the protest as they packed up their equipment - she was asking why they don't give fair coverage, like telling stories of those who were very adversely affected by the mandates, and also about biased, legacy news outlets reporting misinformation.

She asked, "Why aren't you telling those stories?"

His reply likely got him a reprimand from the bosses - he said, "I don't have the power."

How do you say you're muzzled without saying you're muzzled?

It must be hell to hold a job where you gotta leave your conscience at home before you leave for your job.

Then again, all through history, there were people who got a perverse thrill out of running prison camps, manning firing squads, pushing the gas button, sitting as Inquisitors - this board gives sickening evidence of the existence of those twisted souls.

The good reporters exist, but are a critically endangered species.

Back when BSE was shredding the cattle industry, I did numerous interviews with one CTV journalist who asked if he could come out to give coverage from the farmer's vantage point.

He was very fair, never misrepresented anything he saw or heard here. His reputation remains impeccable.

When CBC called and asked for an interview and visit, I declined.

I seen the video of that nurse talking to the coward reporter. Also seen the cops on a 78 year old man , And the video of the cops backing into a guys truck and then pulling him out of it.

None of it showed up on CBC or CTV.
