Aggie have you actually talked to ANYONE who is or was in Ottawa and has walked through the protest for a few hours??
I have talked to people who were out there the (one couple drove there semi from saskatoon and another family was visiting relatives near winnipeg and joined the convoy there with their suv.
Both couples said it was amazing to actually be there.
NO violence or hate!
Both witnessed CTV and CBC setting up to show as small of crowd and as few trucks as possible.
And when they watched the coverage on the news it was nothing close to what is going on.
I also have relatives that live just outside of Ottawa and work in the city.
They have LOTS of trucks, tractors and campers/motorhomes parked in fields near them.
They cant believe how CLEAN it is with all the people around.
They say the sidewalks have never been shoveled and cleaned like this ever!!
And not just at the protest area, any of the routes that the crowd is walking to get the parliament hill area are clean.
The homeless are being cared for and RESPECTED to the point many are overwhelmed from the compassion they are getting and are helping clean up and even carry fuel etc.
Many are veterans that have been ignored or even shunned by the liberal government.
