So if the BLM rioters can openly commit arson, habitually loot stores, bring cities to their knees through unchecked violence, why weren't those situations declared emergencies and and police taking measures equivalent to what they did at Coutts?

I can't compare trudeau to Hitler. trudeau is just a weak, indecisive, ineffectual leader. He wouldn't have the commitment to take the pill. The Liberal establishment knows he's on the downside and will remove him. That's the only positive result of the convoy/protests. The economic damage could have been avoided. I don't think the CPC has done itself any favors. If an election were forced the Liberals would have another minority. By and large the demonstrators have been unwitting pawns of the American right wing.

That seems like a fairly accurate assessment.

But he's still no less threat to national peace and security of the person.

One slight benefit of his Fascist extremism might be that the increasing public reaction to it gives the premiers a bit of pause in exercising their own dictatorial impulses.
