BP I'm curious why you think that is better. Just my thinking but if they were already banned weapons it would help illustrate that bans dont stop bad guys with guns. If they are legal firearms that were intended to do illegal things, to me that just gives more "ammo" to the anti gun crowd?

Hopefully they give some more background on who these people are, curious if these were locals or imports. Hope its some organized nut bar group and not a bunch of farmers. I did read something about the CBSA turning back US citizens coming up to join the protests, didn't provide any numbers. So many people wrapped up in violent video games and tv/movies these days might make for some blurry lines between reality and make believe for some.

Thank god I never did. Careful boys. Most of your wealth should be sitting out the front window on your home quarter.

I'm sure since January 6 the FBI and American security agencies have greatly expanded their database of alt-right activists and supporters. On our side of the border the RCMP have more names and faces to watch. Maybe if they'd worn masks the facial recognition software wouldn't work so well. Many people have sympathy for removing the covid mandates but when guns are involved it's a whole new game. F*** around and find out is the old saying.

Its also a disappointment me that there are people on here that seem to be just gritty with joy that they did find some firearms!!! Shame on you!
If the rcmp are there to end this peacefully, why do they bring guns, I rather suspect if they put all their fire power on display it would make a very large pile.
multiple handguns, cant they count to two,or mabey its the media sensationalizing again. Hell I have more guns on my property than that,no handguns tho,and ammo I buy 500 rounds of 22 shells at a time and rifle,4 or 5 boxes so 100 rounds, shotgun 50 rounds, so wouldnt the rcs and media have a ball with that.
Yes its to bad there are wack jobs show up to give the politicians and law something to make the public turn against average citizens. You notice the anti gun adds are on the air waves again, sponsored by the feds.

Covid research is a full time job. Just keep on exposing that little chestnut for the world to see.

So does anyone think they have evidence that ties the seizure to the blockade?

Because if you do, it would contradict the truth.

It's looking like it was a totally unrelated "incident" conveniently close so that it would instantly be associated with the border blockade.

But the media won't pick that up, will they.

Really, Im pretty sure standard gear is side arm, taser and club for enforcing a traffic violation or making a school presentation but you think they should take it off before walking into an angry protest of hundreds?

I dont think there is any case at all to be made that any police force has been too aggressive in any of this mess.

None of us know complete details but if there is any shred of truth to what we are being told, there is no justification at all for these guys and no excuses period. Anyone who sticks up for them or belittles the situation made as well join them.
